@apps report it?
@Cedara But for what reason? You can't prevent third parties from redistribution libre software, the license allows it…
So unless it's redistributed with a license violation like changing the license/add usage limitations) or that version contains malware, you can't just report it.
Of course, if it's a malware, that's a good reason to report it… but I don't think google gives a flying fuck… They prefer to censor apps for arbitrary reasons like they did with with both Fedilab and Tusky…
@devnull
@Cedara
Yes, but I don't think it's the purpose when the name of the app is "Fedilab - cracked versions"
Also, references to the source code has been removed from the app description.
It is also classified as "PEGI 3" that doesn't respect Social Media age.
There is nothing that could help to trust that version.
@apps I'm surprised that with "cracked" in its title it passed Google's checks
@apps
Is that an app created by French government?!?
@Deuchnord
No, they have used a similar app id of the Fdroid release.
@apps how long before Google removes the wrong version from the play store over complaints of malware?
@FiXato
I guess that depends of the number of reports.
@apps why is the name "fr.gouv.etalab.mastblck" ? 🤔
@apps Gmail address associated why the app (beykonwles532@gmail.com) is of course a fake email address
@paoloredaelli
No, they don't allow that, the app would be removed for spam (a kind of illegal advertising).
@apps
Report it for impersonation, I think that's against Google ToS
You should not use it!
