We introduced pronouns support in #Fedilab recently thanks to a suggestion (https://codeberg.org/tom79/Fedilab/issues/1028)
@megalodon is the first app that worked on it.
We extended that beautiful idea to some views where we thought it could be useful (when replying or when searching for mentions).
We will do our best to contribute with other apps for a kind of normalisation of this feature (especially for the localisation around the English word "pronouns").

@megalodon @Natasha_Jay I've been using fedilab since I got on the fediverse initially—this is a fantastic feature, it delighted me to see pronouns getting filled in on my feed as I scroll.
It's neat how the community's taken a very vague concept of key/value traits on profiles, and created some very consistent forms of metadata.
@apps
Will you add a setting to deactivate this feature?
I don't need pronouns in the timeline.

Yes, it's planned.
@MicMun @apps @Natasha_Jay
even if you don't need it on your timeline, you could at least add them to your profile for others to see, no?
@vantiss
My profile picture is hopefully male enough, so I does not need to add pronouns.
This bullshit has enough supporters.
@apps
Great work!
Could it be that entering pronouns via the app is buggy? Adding a profile field and then clicking save checkmark at the top right does nothing.
Hey guys, would be cool to have for Fedilab app to have Material UI applied!
Seriously, your app lacks a good design unlike other apps like @megalodon and @moshidon .
I use your app because of features you guys offer but seriously, wish you guys had a better UI design.
@apps Pronouns don't work well wið long names and absolute datetimes on ðe same line – only a few letters are visible or at times none at all, because ðere is no space left.
@apps
Any way to disable it?
@apps
Hello ?
@apps
Perfect thank you very much
@apps Thanks for implementing this, I really like it
Any plans to support the term "pronouns" in other languages? Like "pronoms" in french ?
Thanks for the continuous work on the app!
