We forgot to mention that #Fedilab 2.38.0-* can handle gemini links and open them with different apps.
Thank you to @Bazsalanszky (framagit) for this contribution 👍
Informed users might have noticed we talked about 2.38.0-rc-1 and not 1.38.0-rc-1
#Fedilab 1.38.0-rc-1 has been released on our #Fdroid repository. Highlight of this update is push notifications. This will really reduce the battery usage of Fedilab while providing quick notifications. That needs a little configuration. The step by step is explained here: https://fedilab.app/wiki/features/push-notifications/
We are working on another solution for pushing live notifications. It's an open source work that we should bring in 2.38.x. #Fedilab
The beta release should be released in production very soon.
If you use 2FA with #Pixelfed, don't hesitate to give it a try and share your feedback.
UntrackMe has been updated to version 1.18.0 and is already available in our FDroid repository.
Here's what has been improved:
- Add more patterns to remove utm/tracking parameters
- Fix a display issue when font size and display size are the largest
We are now 6 persons that contribute to projects #Fedilab #TubeLab #UntrackMe #FediPlan #OpenMultiMaps. We all have different skills, but we are happy that it can help the FOSS community and more.
Keep reporting issues or improvements, we are here for helping, listening and make that softwares even better thanks to your contributions.
TubeLab updates were disabled in F-Droid because we included a prebuilt library that was used to provide torrent support.
The library we used is opensource, but using prebuilt files are against F-Droid's policies.
The good news is, now we can build that library from its source during TubeLab's build process. So TubeLab should be back in F-Droid soon :)
Everything has been moved to the new server.
