Nitter is fixed, you have to change the default instance.
Currently nitter.net throws a 403, they suggest to switch while they will enable back RSS feeds on their instance.
How can the default instance be changed?
Found it, went ahead and set "nitter.nl" as the default Twitter frontend domain, still not possible to create a list with public nitter timelines 
I am using version 3.23.1
All instances (currently 6) with the update status 20.08.2023 or newer are working again.

You already support the LaTeX math environments.
For text formatting there is now markdown support, which is more readable than LaTeX without having rendering it.
Apart from mathstodon.xyz - in the Webinterface - I don't know where else math environments are supported.
Haven't tested it, but combining both would solve most issues, don't it?
Overall I think it would be too much.
PS: writing LaTeX on Android devices without a physical keyboard is not something I would like to do.

I think it would be very useful for users who follow accounts on servers that support it. This is my case, for instance. But I don't think it is a priority.

I have other unresolved issues with Fedilab.
1) For months I have been pushed to the top of new messages instead of starting at the bottom message. This had worked for quite some time before.
2) Also, I am missing the button to remotely retrieve a thread. Can't find the button in the settings anymore.
3) Always already when playing videos the bottom list with the 3 points 
is above the timeline of the video, so I can almost never use it.

1) Get new toots -> app scrolls up automatically. However, I would like to stay at the last place in timeline I read.
2) For the 2nd case I have attached a screenshot.
I am missing the button to retrieve the complete history of the toot.
This does not happen automatically, as I think it should? That's why I wish the button back.

If you have enabled remote conversations in settings it's done automatically that's why the button is not displayed.

But there is a bug with the detailed message that is not displayed, we will check that.

For the first point, have you disabled the "remember position" in settings?
Or what do you mean by "get new toots" ? Tap twice in the tab? If so, it's a normal behavior.

I have this problem now over half a year and yes, the setting is set.
I open Fedilab and the new posts will load and I jump automaticly to the top. I changed setting many times and reinstalled app. Always same result.

I'd love it just as much as the next guy, but isn't LaTex a much bigger attack surface than MarkDown?
...Can you imagine being able to describe physics equations in your own chart server, though???
